| Overview Our goal is to be a force to be reckoned with both in PvE and RvR. When people look at the leaderboards and statues ingame.. we want them to be looking at Vindicators.
We want our fellow realm mates to be proud to fight beside us and our enemies to tremble when they see our banner. Recruiting
We have decided not to just openly recruit anyone. We will be looking for quality players to focus the guild. Why would you do this? We want to make a big impact in game and have people fear even a small group of us showing up.
Recruits will need to try out by joining with us for a time to see that not only are a good player but can stay focused with what we are doing. While a player may be an awesome killer they may let the bloodlust push them to actions which hurt our overall objective and place the group at risk. RvR
This will be our primary objective but it must be made clear that its not simply just killing the other team. Many times it means leaving the enemy alone to go out to capture objectives. As our planetside veterans know assaulting an empty held structure (keeps in this case) is a much easier task when its not full of defenders.
Scenarios will be group activies often done while we are doing normal pve. The officers or group leaders will make the call to accept to join it if it comes up for a group. There are times when it happens that its just simply not a good time to join in like when you have progessed a fair amount of the way through a public quest its to our benefit to see the pq to the end instead of joining in the scenario. Grouping
You should be grouped together if at all possible. We understand there are times that it may not be possible due to things such as having to go AFK alot for whatever reason. You can group with people in your tier and going to help someone lower than you can help them catch up. You may be able to solo like a machine but another class might not be able too. But but I don't need them.. no you might not need them now but you are going to at some point (a good example would be healers). Loot
Need before greed. Its just that simple. If another vindicator present needs it for the character they are playing then it goes to them. Main characters always have priority over alt characters. If you are winning alot of greed rolls then pass for other vindicators.
Sure you may be rich and able to buy everything because of your extreme greed while the rest of your teammates are struggling then you are only hurting the team.
During certian guild events some people with crafting skills will be designated as 'looters' for skills like Scavenging and Butchering which will then go to the guild vault to help support our crafters. PvE
I just want to melt faces! Sorry but this is only part of what we will be doing. All aspects of PvE also support the War effort as well as allowing us to improve teamwork and the guild as a whole. Characters
We encourage you to have alts. Why? Well first we are going to try to run specific group setups as much as possible and sometimes we just need people playing a different class. They can also be used to help those who are lower tiers than mains as well as learning more about just what your allies can do. Hell you might even come up with some new trick for someone elses main you can share. Respect
All players should be treated with respect. Griefing of any sort will be cause for removal from the guild. This includes things such as attacking rvr flagged enemies in a PQ (in pve areas) or causing grief for allies (example: following someone lower and killing thier mobs).
Not only is this a good thing to do anyway but it helps us for when we need help ourselves. |
