Problems playing online games threw my wireless connection

I use a Belkin wireless USB adapter to connect to the internet. I have a problem playing any online game. City of heroes/villains and voyage century online both go out VCO goes out the most. I have no idea why it does this if any one got’s a reason why and how I can get around this please let me know.
