Sony's new FPS called M.A.G

SOCOM fans, think about your favorite online military shooter game and multiply that by 256. That's right, Zipper Interactive's MAG: Massive Action Game (project title) promises to deliver that much players online. Eight squads (that's 32 teams in a full 256 player game) will split up in free-for-all match across a battlefield You can dub it as the SOCOM MMO as players can enhance their soldier avatars through an advancement tree - sort of like a ranking branch.

Andy Beaudoin from Zipper Interactive said during Sony's conference that MAG will definitely push the PS3's engine. As always, we'll bring you more info on this massive title as soon as we get them.
