Rockstar Games: Grand Theft Auto IV
...is going to be the game of the year. Any one else as excited for this as i am? Coincidentally its release on April 29th, 2008 marks the last day of classes for me. Its going to be amazing.
If you havent looked into it, be sure to check it out. They've released several videos (4 official trailers, as well as several clever 'advertisements' about different aspects in game). My brother's best friend is one of the managers over at rockstar (like name in the credits and everything) and he says its going to be the single most amazing game ever released.

Perhaps the only problem with the older GTA's was the FPS system. Aiming was shoddy and fighting seemed bulky and unrealistic, and almost always evolved into you standing in the middle of a street with an AK47 in the open. With this installment Rockstar has completely revamped the combat system, and made a cover an essential part of the game.

In addition to that, they have released the initial 16 multiplayer game modes including

They have stated that multiplayer will be on the same immense map as singleplayer, so its going to be epic. All those dreams of playing GTA with your friends are finally coming true.
