Assassin's Creed...refreshlingy fun for me..

I have played MMO and PC FPS games exclusively for the past... 8 years...damn.

Needless to say I do not console much. As of late the only console games I have played...(which I can say I have logged less than 24hrs on over the past 8 years on all the titles combined) are:

PS2: Bushido Blade ( interesting japanese sword game), Marvel Ultimate Alliance, DOA
WII: Wii Sports (boxing, tennis) and Mario Cart (mucho fun atm).

After playing around in FFXI I have been wanting to play consoles a little more or consoleish type games...so I have aquired Assassin's Creed. I have heard good and bad reviews, and I will write my own when I am done with the game, but so far it is refreshing.

I am currently playing it on the PC on a gamepad... some users were complaining of terrible performance, but I am 99% sure that their rigs suck as I have everything turned up and I have yet to get any hiccups.


The story is interesting so far, with some weird twists that I will not ruin.

It is weird for me to control the character at first and I am still getting good at it, but so far it is a blast sneaking around and assassinating, parts of the story or slow at this point, but it is progressing.

If you like rogue/stealth type games I would recommend it. Now you don't actually stealth like daoc or wow of course, you actually blend in with grounds and hide behind objects which is really neat.

Rent it if you can and check it out, if for PC id recommend aquiring it as well.
