Age of Conan
Well i dont know how many of you have been following this game, but its time is about to come. This is a revolutionary MMORPG that will be releasing in October of 2007. Its won countless awards for its excellent staff, the game itself, and its revolutionary ideas. These awards include "Best MMO of E3 2006" so its definately worth looking into. To grab the attention of Kurz and some others, This will be the first MMORPG ever to recieve a "M" for mature rating That means decapitating moves, stabbing people into the ground, blood everywhere, Sticking bodies to walls, decorating our city with heads, ect.
The Vindicators will have a good part in this game. Myself and Deathzero will be leading a vindicator outfit and Cities to become the best and most powerful outfit in the game. Join us.

What it is
Conan is not just a game, its an entire world. This game will range across the vast expanses of Hyboria, and in reality, be HUGE. Combining knowledge from many different games, especially AO, the developers have put together what seems to be an amazing game, with an exciting combat system and AWESOME guild features.

Combat
The combat system in this game is ganna be freaking awesome...Its what i've been looking forward to in a MMO forever. For you darkfall freaks, think darkfall, but better. Its not the typical spam/turn based MMO combat you'll find in WoW or other games, its entirely in real time. You have several functions you can preform (6). These include (with a sword for instance) right slash, left, up, down, thrust, head. Not only will you be hitting the keys to perform these moves, but you will also be combining them to perform new attacks, instead of mashing skill keys. The movies will explain them better. Watch them.
Oh yes, something i know Azekiel will like. Archery. Its not the typical MMO archery, its like in the Oblivion games, you actually have to Aim.
Mount combat? Fuck ya! Different depending on your speed, but the horses momentum adds to your attacks. Also, you can form "Formations" and plow.

Guild System
This is perhaps the most grasping aspect of this game for me. The outfit system is absolutely amazing, taken from a variety of different MMOs and compiled into an amazing one. The organization of the outfit, first off, is different from what we're used to. The outfit can be broken up into different sub-parts (another game did this its name escapes me) and these can have different tasks. Outfits will be ranked, and competed against one another as nations. Read up more on this, tons too much to write.
One of the coolest aspects of guilds are the cities. As a guild we will be establishing 2 cities. Our main city will be in the non-pvp zone, as is allowed, and this will be our domain. I'll go into this further below.

City System (Watch part 3 of the interview)
Probably the best system i've seen in a game. This is how it works.
A guild is allowed to set up a city in the non PVP zone. This is initiated by stablishing a city hall and then whatever other buildings we want. Of corse, we will need to level our architect to build us these buildings. We will have pubs (Yes kurz, drunken bar fighting is a large form of PVP in the game, fo real) shops, smiths, stables, ranges, PLAYER HOUSING, and everything. Of corse around our city we will need to construct walls and gates, to allow the non guildies in (or shut the gates to keep them out).
A very unique part of this system is what happens as you build. As your city continues to grow, an NPC city begins to form a little ways away from yours...a sort of sister city. This city will continue to grow after being established, and eventually build a barracks and stables, and then start spitting out soldiers. These soldiers will rally constantly, and launch attacks on your city (Including Rams, Catapults, ballistas, and more) It is your responsibility as a guild to keep them in check and if possible, destroy them.

Our guild will also have another "city", if that wasnt cool enough for you. In the PVP zone we will establish a "Battlekeep". This will basically be a fortress/castle that will be open to attack at certain times, and will be located in the pvp zone. This is where most of the guild vs guild action will happen, with territorial gains and such. Also, there are smaller keeps like battle towers and stuffs. I hope one of you can aim a catapult.

More reasons this game will fucking PWN
-It will be released for both dx9 AND DX10.
-Because of that, its FUCKING BEAUTIFUL. Watch some of the trailers and try not to pee yourself
-Very similair, and in my opinion (and E3's) better than darkfall
-The developer team is freaking awesome, and are VERY open with everything. They have an official date of launch announced, and have just 3 days ago entered public beta. This game is coming fast gents.
-Crafting will be sick
-I'll get to barfight and beat the shit out of kurz
-Not spam based. Combat is based on player skill not on level or sick weaponry as much.
-Awesome and HUGE world.
-Clever usage of instances to make lag nothing and never run out of building room(Read up on that, its cool)
