| Heres my run down on PSs features, how I see them: Good
Scale
Implants
Teamwork encouraged
Uniform upgrades
Lattice
Visible equipment loadouts
Empire differences (weaponry/vehicles)
Cloakers
MAXs
Cert system
Warpgates
Attempt at ingame voice comms
Equality of veterans and noobs stats (health, armour)
Vehicle aquisition system (no waiting for vehicles to spawn in a BF style) Bad
Infantry 3rd person
Red names above enemies
Lack of infantry AA (and other such oversights)
Too many cert points (too varied roles for characters)
No recoil (COF system flawed)
Certain useless equipment (AV MAXs, Sunderer, Supressor, etc)
Not enough incentive to squad
Inventory too big (you shouldnt be able to have weapons in there)
Pilot armour and weaponry too good (pilots and drivers should have SMGs tops, not HA/AV weapons)
No prone position
Backhacking Other games good relevant features
RTCW Respawn system (respawn in waves)
SW:RC Squad order system (context sensitive orders key)
SW:RC HUD Style (in helmet)
SW:RC Reviving (and death viewpoint)
Halo Grenade system
Halo vehicle handling
Halo pistol whipping
Mechwarrior vehicle equipment selection
CoD style ironsights
BiA "shellshock"
AA training method
DoD:S Deployable weapons
