Its not what I expected

I am taking a break from PS for a while. Its not abou the BFR's although they suck, its about what the game has to offer... I'm not sure what I was expecting but this doesn't quite add up. It may just be the frustrations with the network performance; (its hard to get many kills with a 1400ms delay.) I am looking forward to spending my times with other games specifically WoW and once that comes out you may not see me around here anymore.

I have already paid for 2 months and have about 1 left so I will be on and off for a while and even when I am on I am on and off due to the network disconnecting.

I would like to meet up with you guys once WoW goes gold.

Frankly I don't know how most of you guys managed to play this game for a year+, I mean there is only so much this kind of game can offer.

When I was waiting for the game to be delievered I was reading books like "The art of War" and "On War" by Clausewitz, I read "Book of Five Rings" etc and you know what I realized.... this game has very little to do with strategy in any complex sense... if you have more ppl attacking the base it will fall. There is no defence that can hold off a superior force, and visa versa.
The most advaced strategy I have ever seen enacted was a WP on a base and it being attacked...

If the enemy force it too grreat you jump continents until they get bored then you go back and take their shite.... *yawn*
No Offence to you die hards, but for $12/month I would rather play 7card hold em online...

oh well, it I EVER get my cable connection before my subscription ends I may have a change of heart but, until then I will get my wargasms from Unreal Tournement single player...
