Getting a new computer

And i need help because i am at the end of the day, horribly horribly inept at computers

so, before i go spend my money in a really dumb fashion , some help, perhaps with what youre currently using to game on, where you decided to pick it up etc, any help at all would be welcome, really

thanks guys, i look forward to all of your warm and fuzzy criticism, opinions and the like...
