Final Project Animation: Music anyone?
Old 11-21-2007, 02:10 AM   #1 (permalink)

For my final project in Animation this year, I am creating a short film entirely in Maya. Throughout the fall I have been modeling, rigging, and animating it, so expect it to be completed about December 10th or so.

Right now, I'm at a loss for which music I'd like to match up to it. I don't really want to call it a "music video"- because the focus is on the story, despite the fact that there is no voice acting involved.

So I figured I'd hit up the Vindicators resource pool, and see if anyone has any good ideas, or would be willing to submit something. You'd get your name in the credits and a digital cookie.

In any case- here are the render shots. I am looking for something with a slightly technopunk feel to it, that begins slowly for about a minute or so, and then picks up in tempo. (This is the hard part. Half of the story is very chill, the other half is a combat sequence.)
Of course, if someone really digs this and would like to compose something, I'd be honored to put it in.

^^^ Last image in the line here is the one I am currently working on, which is why the white robot does not appear to be moving yet.
