Okay, okay, I know. No politics here. But I'm sure that, red, blue, green, whatever our European friends are(puce? Pleasing shade of tan?) that there's a few political junkies like me in the crowd. Towards that end, I thought that they might find these links interesting, because like them, I'm sure they're a bit tired of looking at opinion polls(I know I am, and I've been actually participating in one!).
Princeton Election Consortium — A first draft of electoral history -This is a meta-poll. I forget how exactly it works, but it paints a little bit more accurate picture about what's going on right now.
Intrade Prediction Markets - Prediction market. People pay real money for these prediction stocks, which go up or down depending on how people feel the outcome is. Actually accurate up to a couple weeks in advance.
Why don't you hear about these on the news agencies? Well, because there would be an angry mob outside of their offices for talking in hypotheticals, even though that's what they're doing anyway.
Not going to opine-- I know who I'm voting for. Just thought the junkies in the crowd could do with another drug for their veins.
Of course, mods, you know what to do if this gets out of hand.
