Regarding Darkfall Beta

This is a post from a DFO developer.

As many of you already know, we’ve started clan beta preparations by inviting clans to register for it.

The criteria for inviting clans have been the following:

1. Darkfall Community involvement
2. We know them - and have played with or against them in the past
3. Reputation - or recommendation by other clans and evaluation.

There has been great interest and we've had numerous requests by clans wanting to be included. Also, there are good clans out there that we haven't been able to contact. We want to be as fair as possible so we’ll allow clans the option to apply in this second round:

One stipulation is that the contact email you list can be easily found on the clan website for verification purposes or it should be on the same domain (example: www.clan123.com - tasos@clan123.com). The field [Contact Email Link(!) (Location of Contact Email on your site)] on the application form is the URL of where we can find the contact information on your website.

Don’t expect an immediate response. We will review each application carefully.

The fact that we’re organizing the clan beta right now does not mean that individual players will be left out. Beta testing is not limited to clans. We have been preparing for individual testers for a while. Individuals should keep their contact information on the Darkfall boards up to date and valid.

There will be plenty of opportunities to playtest Darkfall. We hope that everyone interested in the game will get a chance to playtest it before it goes live. We’ll keep you updated as needed on the Darkfall Beta.
