Sniping:
-There are some very simple truths to sniping that always need to be kept in mind:
*If your target can see you, you will likely be hunted down and killed.
*If your target can hear you, you will likely be hunted down and killed.
*If you're spotted, you're poorly equipped to take them all on.
-Keeping the above in mind, you're going to want to pick your firing position. Generally, your positions should be high up and as far away as possible, but if the enemy is engaged in a firefight you can do it from a little bit closer, as they're already too busy trying to not die to the rapid firing guns that are WAY closer.
-I'm sure you're thinking to yourself, "how far away is far enough?". Well, for myself, using Sidi, from Silo 2 I can hit just about ANYWHERE ON THE MAP. That's a pretty good place.(for you vindies that were wondering where I was last night, yo.)
-Patience pays off. This isn't an assault rifle; just sit there, get a feel for the scope bob and your mark's movement. Watch where he stops. See how he moves. Then take your shot.
-Remember how I told you to watch how they move? You'll notice your shots seldom miss if they're either stopped or moving directly towards and away from you; the target picture never changes. Those are the best times to take that shot.
Anyone else got more?
