Why didn't you see me?

I got into my second car accident in this year alone, though this time it probably isn't my fault.
I was driving out of my parking lot at my apartment complex, going straight ahead. This guy decides to pull out of this intersection without looking and zoom forward, because he's in a huge hurry. Normally, I wouldn't have even been more than annoyed, as he had just cut me off.
Well today was different, because today the parking lot was SOLID ICE. I'm not kidding; I was driving on a glacier two inches thick. The other driver, however, was much more fortunate and was on solid pavement.
So anyway, he cut me off and me, reacting normally, tried to swerve, stop, anything.
No dice. I slide straight into him. Crunch.
I was shaking so badly. My poor baby car, the front right smashed in AGAIN. The driver of the other car gets in my face and asks me if I saw him... I couldn't even form a coherent sentence. Of course, neither could he; he sounded like he'd just walked off the boat. He told me that he couldn't deal with this right now, that he had to get his daughter to work. I insisted that we trade insurance info. He remained adamant about not giving me anything. I finally wrestled his phone number and address out of him. At this point, I can only hope it's his real address and phone number.
I was going to go to work and make my phone calls there, but decided better on it and went to file a police report. The officer got my info, told me that if she can't get a hold of the guy that I'll get contacted by traffic division, and left.
How much do you want to bet that this dude didn't have a driver's license or even insurance? That can only make my day better.

| | So far in my 6 years of drivng I have not had a crash, I have come damned close though! There are so many tards on the roads its untrue, people that start driving across roundabouts then slam their brakes on are the worst, as you presume they are gonna enter so you look for your break as you move forward to take their place. One of my mates hit a ferrari, but only because the asshole driving it had his nose poking 2 feet out of a T junction onto the road my mate was driving on. |
