I love the smell of burning ME in the morning

So as I'm in limbo to quit my current corp, I found out we're at war.

Not by being told by my corpmates or alliance mates, not by checking the mails(can't find anything on it; must have changed), but after my cruiser gets punked by one of those EWar cruisers with a HAC accompanying it.

I get a response to my killmail to the effect of "Stay out of empire". Thanks, jackass. I'm leaving the corp, which requires me to get outta 0.0, and you're telling me to hide. Thanks!

I'm moderately annoyed because my death was simply ignored, rather than provoking a *very* violent response from my (soon to be former) corp. Shouldn't a corp defend its members, regardless of where they are?

I guess the mitigating factor is that it was just a Moa with a total value of $10 mil worth of equipment on it. I would have been actually upset had I lost one of my barges instead; that's where my money comes from!

I am absolutely going to be getting a BS after I get my Hulk trained. My goal when I started this char was to have a solid moneymaking base and then jump straight into PVP. It's not that hard to be upset about a ship when you put it together yourself.
