Hey everyone. Myself and quite a few friends from Planetside: Purple Haze are going to start playing Vanguard: SoH. Yes for several months the game had various glitches, bugs and drawbacks. It didn't have many players playing because of the glitches, bugs and for the fact that a major portion of the Vanguard community was leaving simply because of that reason. But, since SOE has acquired the "Sigil Games Online" studio, the Sigil team has been given a chance to add updates for Vanguard: SoH. These updates fix many of the problematic areas of the game, as well as the glitches and bugs. Many players have returned to the ever-persistant world of Vanguard to find a more refreshing game than it was several months ago.

My good friend Jevil has convinced me and several other players into joining the game with him. If anyone wants to join us for some good ole' RPGing, you'll find us on the Seradon server. This game is for both the casual and hardcore gamer. But, if you're looking for a walk in the park, (just another title for WoW ), you probably won't be too interested in it. If you were ever interested in SWG before they right-clicked and deathblowed it with the NGE and if you like swinging swords, nocking the arrow or simply casting a spell, the chances are you will like the game.

It seems alot of people like the PvE combat within Vanguard. As far as PvP goes I don't know much about it in Vanguard. I haven't had the chance to play it yet. Although I have read forums and reviews. I've done my homework looking into the game. When I do start playing I will post more articles on this thread as to how everything goes. The game has excellent graphics, no sissy cartooney effects either.

The recommended requirements are at least: 1GB of RAM, a 256MB Graphics card, at least a 2.8Ghz processor, I would not recommend playing on Dial-Up. A monthly subscription fee is required after your first free month of play. $14.99 a month. Another nifty feature about Vanguard is that the more RAM you have the farther you can view into the distance. The game has no loading screens except on start-up. No instances, so if you want to venture into a dungeon or cave theres no loading screens slowing you down. Player mounts you receive at level 10 for a small amount of change which helps traveling by a ton at lower levels.

So who would like to join Vanguard with us? The game costs $50.00 U.S. Dollars to download digitally, and only $20.00 U.S. Dollars retail. Go figure. But there are currently three people who play it so far, with two others on their way.

Names of the characters that are currently subscribed and playing:
Jevel
Anodak
Claudy

Do your homework on this game if you're at all interested in playing.
