Striping Question

So I'm running a RAID 0 on my compy, and I want to know... If I install a new OS onto the array, will I need to set the array up again in Vista? Or will all the data be preserved?

IIRC, the array itself is being handled on the hardware level, so I shouldn't be concerned, but it never helps to verify
