Okay, I don't know how/whether I can move posts, so let's just start fresh here for the Titan stuff, since a lot of our knowledge is important and quite frankly, I think we need to work on our Titan offense.
Here's a few pointers:
-Don't go in alone if you can help it. I know, everyone wants all the glory for themselves, but it's far better to have someone watching your back than to try and gloryhound it, only to be discovered, dropped and have half the opposing team dig in for next time you come around.
-Diversify your kits. A whole squad of recons with demo is nice, but unfortunately nobody in that squad is gonna be resupplying, defusing or ressing people anytime soon. A four man squad with Engy, Support, Assault and Recon, however, can support each other and counter a wider variety of threats more effectively.
-Learn to use those underused and underrated kit upgrades! That Pulse Detector is like a portable UAV without the recharge time and gives your squad eyes in the back of their head and around corners... Smokes give you cover down those long corridors and deny your opponents an easy shot... Defusers take down APMs and RDXes without having to sac a demo pack or squadmate... EMP nades disable sentry guns and ruin campers' aim.
-Take your time! Rather than just charging headlong into defenses, move slowly. Take the time to carefully take apart their defenses and form a battleplan. THEN move forward.
-Guy at the back of the squad watches the back of the squad. While your squadmates' asses might look quite nice, wouldn't it be a better use of your time to watch your buddies' backs instead?
-Protect your medic! If he dies, nobody's gonna res you, and a squad wipe buys the defending side time to dig in. So when he goes down, take the time to grab his kit if necessary and bring him back up; he'd do the same for you.
-Idiocy is doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result. Chances are, if there were RDXes, APMs, 2 sentry guns and a bunch of nade chucking support guys there last few times your squad got wiped in that vent, the situation probably hasn't changed in the time it took you to respawn and form up to jump in that vent again. Might be worth considering striking another entryway. Or...
-If they want it so badly, they can have it. If the majority of their team is defending their titan and looking for the easy kill, chances are they've got almost nobody guarding silos. So, take their silos. Sure it's not as fun as nuking their core, but it's a helluva lot more fun than feeding the other team easy titan defense pins and badges.
That's all I gots for now.
